Edgar Davids is a product of the celebrated Ajax youth system that was so potent in the early 90s. He moved to AC Milan before a leg injury sustained against Perugia ruled him out for some time. He moved to Juve in the 1997/98 season and established himself as a first-team starter. Davids possesses great determination and battling spirit in midfield, such as shown by the late Didier Deschamps. He is a typical defensive midfielder, tenacious and equipped with never-say-die attitute. Not only does he fight for the ball in midfield, he's also capable of launching rockets of shots and has chipped in with his share of goals. Has been voted Most Complete Player for the World Cup 98.
